Session Information
In order to support families with siblings at Greenleas Primary School, timings of sessions have been organised to mirror the school day.
For children who are entitled to 15 free hours, sessions can either be 5 mornings or 5 afternoons. You can also top up their sessions to all day, using either 30 Funded Hours(if eligible) or by paying £18.00 per day (e.g. an extra 3 hr session- morning or afternoon) if there is availability. Pease note: If your child is eligible for the 30 free hours, their 30 hours* will be 8:45am-2:45pm.
If you wish them to stay until 3:15pm there will be a daily charge of £3.00 as your child would be in the setting 32.5 hrs per week.
Also you must provide your child’s packed lunch as for 2024-25 we do not have the facilities to provide a school dinner.
All children will have access to water, milk and fruit during the day.

Additionally, during term time we offer wrap around before and after school care. This is open to children who attend Greenleas Primary School or Greenleas Early Years provision. This is not part of the 30 hour childcare offer. It needs to be booked separately through school. The fees are reviewed annually and are charged per child, per session. Due to the statutory requirement to have a higher staffing ratio for children in our Pre-School or Foundation provision, younger children will be charged at a different rate.
Opening times are:
Breakfast Club: 7:30am-8:45am
After School Club: 3:15pm-5:45pm.
Once you have accepted an offered place at our provision we will start our carefully planned Induction programme. This is an important time when we start to get to know your child, their interests, experiences of being with others and any individual requirements they may have. We look forward to working in partnership with you and your child to support a smooth transition into Greenleas.
