Long Term Overview 2024 - 2025
Our half termly topic webs will be shared each half term. These will give you more of an insight into what we will be covering. Learning in the Early Years goes with our children’s interests at the time, so topics can take lots of interesting turns and go off on unexpected tangents!
The 7 areas of the EYFS will be covered throughout all topics.
Prime areas - Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED), Communications and Language (CL) and Physical Development (PD)
Specific Areas – Literacy (L), Mathematics (M), Understanding The World (UTW), Expressive Arts and Design (EAD)

Vehicles, Machines at home, Amazing machines, ICT - programming
Summer 1 – All About THE WORLD
Wallasey, Planet Earth, Space, Gardens, Weather, Celebrations
Summer 2 – All About CHANGES
Seasons, Science experiments, Growing up, School
We will also cover things as they happen such as seasons, festivals, news events.
